Cookie Policy

Effective Date: March 23, 2026 · Version 3.1

1. About This Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Prowex ("Prowex") uses cookies and similar storage technologies on the Prowex AI Agents Platform. It applies to our website and all Platform features. Prowex currently uses localStorage (a browser storage API) rather than traditional HTTP cookies. Both are covered by privacy laws including the EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR.

2. What We Store

auth_token (localStorage) — Essential Stores your authentication JWT so you stay signed in between sessions. Persists until you log out or the token expires. theme (localStorage) — Functional Stores your display preference (light/dark mode). Persists until you change it. Requires your consent via the cookie banner. cookie_consent (localStorage) — Essential Stores your cookie preference choice so we don't ask you again. Persists indefinitely. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

3. Legal Basis

Essential storage (auth_token, cookie_consent): Does not require consent under the ePrivacy Directive — strictly necessary to provide the service you requested. Functional storage (theme): Requires your consent. You can accept or decline functional cookies via the cookie banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, your theme preference will not be saved between sessions. Cookieless analytics (Vercel Web Analytics): We use Vercel Web Analytics to measure page views and performance. This service is fully cookieless — it does not store anything on your device, does not use cookies or localStorage, and does not collect personal identifiers. It runs automatically and does not require consent under the ePrivacy Directive. We do not use advertising, marketing, or third-party tracking cookies. If we introduce any in the future, we will request your explicit opt-in before setting them.

4. Third-Party AI Providers

When agents run, requests are sent to AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google). These providers may set their own cookies when you interact with their services directly. Prowex does not control third-party cookies. See each provider's cookie policy for details.

5. Managing Storage

You can clear localStorage at any time through your browser's developer tools or settings. Note that clearing auth_token will sign you out. Most browsers let you block cookies and site data entirely. Blocking essential storage will prevent the Platform from functioning properly.

6. Changes

We will update this policy if we introduce new storage technologies or cookies. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the Platform. Questions? Contact [email protected].
